This paper focus on Pakistan Hub coal-fired 2×660MW power project which located in the coast areas with high temperature and salty moisture. The category of corrosivity atmosphere is C5. moisture will increase corrosion indoor equipment structures turbine house, threaten safe stable operation plant. Direct evaporative cooling (DEC) technology used to cool centralized supply air for building. To prevent being supplied into building causes structures, desalting filter has been developed combined evaporating unit, realized large-scale engineering application. efficiency reaches more than 93% tested Tongji University VTT Finland, under condition design outdoor 38.9 °C Karachi, 24.4 °C, ensures operating environments working area meeting occupational hygiene requirements anti-salt spray requirements.
